Question for Pokemon Ruby

How do you use a fishing rod?? And is the super fishing rod the highest one???
And how do you get charmander without trading???

To use a fishing rod, put it on Select and use it in a pond, lake or the Sea. Dots will appear, if it says, 'not even a nibble' then try again, but if it says 'Oh! A bite' then you must quickly press A or it will get away. Keep trying you will get better at it.

Different rods catch different Pokemon, I think the super rod is the best, use it in Lilycove and if you are lucky you can catch a Staryu, quite rare.

I think there are encounter codes for Ruby and Sapphire, just choose Charmander, and you should run into one in the wild.

Charmander is near dewford town you need surf to obtain it hope I helped
