Completing the Pokedex

So once I;m trying to complete the pokedex but you can't trade from Kanto and you can't get Jhoto Pokemon in the game so how do you do it???

With all the new additions and the Pokemon Bank, you can actually transfer Pokemon with the newer games. Most people however use a cheating device now a days and get the Pokemon they want and how they want it without effort. You can use Action Replay or GameShark.
