Question for Pokemon Ruby

I started out with a torchic, is he the best starter, I know that they are all good but I have started out with the plant pokemon but it sucked for me. Is it just whatever works for you? BTW, who's better, Dioxys or one of the Regis? Which one is easier to catch?

It depends what you like, I know that the grass type is easyer to evolve.
Deoxys is better but there aremany different kinds. One has a high defence, One has high attack, etc... You cannot catch Deoxys it needs a Nintendo event to unlock the island passes

Well its upto you really which one you can work with I've started with the fire type on every single pokemon game cause it has worked for me.

I would say deoxys is the best but the regis are the easier one to catch.

1: I think mudkip is the best starter.
I have test them all and he was the best.

2: Deoxy's are always better!!!

Deoxys is better. The Regis are easier to catch. Deoxys is only available on Leafgreen and Firered.

Well, let me tell you something, THERE IS NO BEST STARTER, THEY ARE ALL EQUAL.
Deoxys, the Regi's personaly to me are pathetic. I cannot tell you which is easier to catch, because I have never caught Deoxys since I dont have Fire Red or Leaf Green and you cant get Deoxys in Ruby/Sappire without an AR or a some sort of cheat.

Torchic and Mudkip are equally excellent as starters. Mudkip can learn Surf after you get the HM for it.

Deoxys is one of the most powerful Pokemon in the game, exceeding all of the Regis.
