Question for Pokemon Ruby

What pokemon should I catch and to train from the begining to lilycove (OR SHORTER)? Because I never am able to choose.

Well, of course, your starting Pokemon, but I'd choose Ralts.

I advise you to train up your starter pokemon only, but if you insist, Ralts isn't a bad pokemon.

if your talking about starter pokemon choose Mudkip or Torchic but I would choose Mudkip.
