Question for Pokemon Ruby

Hey! i need some help.

I got the code to get the National Dex and i went to use the codes for the old pokemon and they werent in my pc or in the wild. can anyone help?

Don't try to alter the game when it comes to the national pokedex because this will screw up your game.

You might not have put the code in right,or it has a different way of working.I know some codes,that make you only find them on route 101.Try using different codes,and if you still need help,ask me.

This code that you used for your National Dex probably only put the information for these Pokemon in your pokedex. Not in your actual ability to catch or storage.
