I have the 7 out of 8 badges and I found Sootopolis but the gym is locked..

Question for Pokemon Ruby

I have the 7 out of 8 badges and I found Sootopolis but the gym is locked what do I need to do next?

And where do I find the HM waterfall?

You need to find the cave of Origin in Sootopolis (its really north) and battle Groudon and then after you battle Groudon you can now access the 8th Gym!

First you catch or beat Groundon and then you can go on to beat the 8th. gym and you get waterfall in the cave of origin !

To get to the gym you have to catch or deafeat Groundon and waterfall is in the cave of origin or somewhere !

You have to go left and then go up stairs that lead you to tthe poke mart. If you follow the path it should lead you to wallace and steven talking.

Talk to them and they should bring you to the cave of origin. Also you find waterfall in the cave of origin.

Okay, Here's the way:

1. Go to Route 127.
2. Find the wide expansion of dark water.
3. Go underwater.
4.Keep on surfing south, until you come to an opening.
5. Go in, and resurface.
6. Go through the cave and find the room with Groudon/Kyogre (depends on which version you're playing) in it.
7. Face it, and you will be challenged by Archie/Maxie. Defeat him (No, duh!).
8.You will be brought out. Don't mind the unusual weather, you'll get rid of it soon enough.
9. Go back to Sootopolis.
10. Go in to the cave in the very back.
11. You wil find Groudon/Kyogre in there and battle it. I reccomend you to catch it.
12.after you catch/defeat it, you will be able to enter the gym.
