Question for Pokemon Ruby

What are E-Reader cards and how do you scan them? I have absolutely no idea what I can do?

You Have To have A Special thing called the E-reader. Then, hook that up to a GBA/GBA SP (Need a plastic thingy), then hook wth a GBA-to-GBA cable, scan thew card by pressing scan, them communicate, gameboy, then it will ink up.
You need P1 in the Reciever and P2 in the E-reader
