Treeko is the best starter in my opinion.
For the first gym use Treeko or Mudkip or other water or grass types.
For the second gym use Ralts or taillow. For the third gym evlolve mudkip. I don't know where EVERY TM is, sorry.

Have your starting Pokemon and aroun tree zigzagoon and other for hm's
Zigzaggoon's are brilliant. I caught around 5 wih blaziken. Zigzagoon gave me around 24 rarecandy's at the end. And the give items like revive, nuggets and full restore and even pp up. Before defeating the elite 4 my blaziken's lvl was 92

Guest answered:

Well, I can't really help you out regarding TM's and HM's but I do know a few good pokemon to start off your beginner team. Remember you do not to have 6 pokemon to defeat a leader!

My team:

Combusken Level 29

Kirlia Level 27

Yes, I have defeated the third gym.

Reccomended:

Mudkip ( Moves: Mud Shot, Water Gun)

Abra ( Moves: Confusion(Training it is hard though))

Taillow ( Moves: Peck

Shroomish ( Moves: Stun Spore, Mega Drain)

Extra:

Ralts can be substituted for Abra and if you want however it is not really needed to complete your team is a Geodude and/or Elecktrite (Misspelt I think!)

Always aim to keep your strongest pokemon a bit higher than the others if you are impatient and if not always keep them the same to balance strengths and weaknesses within the team.

Aim for Levels:

First Gym: 15

Second Gym:20-25

Third Gym: 30

Hope I helped,

Thanks,

Guest answered:

Your starter should be Torchic because it learns Ember at Lv.10 and it totally beast modes the first part of the game. Catch a Poochyena and Ralts. Level 'em all to Lv.10. Later catch Marill , Swablu and Pikachu. That is my Pokemon Ruby team.

I_love_helper! answered:

Mine is

Salamance lv.84

Metagross lv.80

Gyarados lv.20

Lanturn lv.83

Raichu lv.83

Crawdaunt lv.83

I suggest gyarados change to swampert for beating elite four! But lv. 85-100
Reccomended move for swampert :
Earthquake,muddy water/hydro pump,ice beam&surf

My gyarados is for surf, dive&waterfall not battling!
