The E-Reader is a peripheral device that is placed into a Game Boy Advance to scan cards with dot codes, be it minigame cards, Pokémon cards, or the tickets used to enhance gameplay in the Pokémon games via Mystery Events. I remember getting a coupon for ten dollars in my Pokémon Sapphire box, but as I got it for Christmas last year it had already expired. It can be purchased at any videogame specialty or electronics shop (I remember seeing them at Best Buy).
