Go west of Mosdeep, and you'll come across a house on a small island. Go in there and give him your Red Shard, and he'll give you a Fire Stone in return.

You have to go to hunter.he lives on an island near moossdeep

I can't find a red shard on route 124 how do I get one?

Go to the Shard Hunter west of Mossdeep City. He lives on a small island with one house. Go in and trade in the shard for the Fire Stone.
