My shiny golbat is now level 50. All you do is feed it vitiams and stuff. Heal it with berries and give it the pokeblock it loves. Also you need to fight and don't let the bar go under the yellow or into the yellow hp. If it does you're Golbat would be discouraged that you're not taking good care of it so it will like not be happy
