Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

My friend used a gameshark on my game and when I click continue game there is a celebei icon and I didnt even beat celebei yet and I want him on my team do I have to go throgh purity forest?

Theres only one possible thing that happened your friend corrupted your game and tryed to use a fake code which resulted in that happening.Or it could be that you can get celebi through prufiy forest I recommend going to serebii.net.com and looking that up or just try getting through prufiy forest and see what happens
