Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

I passed Buried Relic and recruited the following: Groudon, Kyogre, Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, and Mew. So I have two questions:

1. When and how do I get to fight Latios in the story? Do I have to do something besides pass a dungeon?

2. What are the best Items to use or hold to recruit the three Regis?
Escape Orbs? Friend Bows?

Answer both in as much detail as you can (especially the first one). I'll be waiting!! Smile

1) just to tell ya, you should've gotten to that point long before you did all this. Btw, of the following, i've recruited Groudon, Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno, and I've had the Lati's for awhile now.

2) Escape orbs: they have them in the orb shop every once in a while. Friend Bow: Go to Faraway Island 30th floor (you need a key to get it)

the way to get Latios and Latias is pass the 40� floors of Stormy Sea, defat Kiogre, get the HM Surf; deposite him, do a mission or something, sleep after this u can go to Northern Range.

Buy the southern island friend area($9500) get surf from solar cave

Answer No.1

Get HM Surf and Purchase the friend area 'Southern Island' from Wigglytuff. You get Northern Range and face Latios on 25F. The next day in the Pokemon Square he will explain:
He stole TM's so he could save his sister Latias.
Gain Pifall Valley. Latias is on 25F help her.
In the square the next day Latios and Latias are there. They have no money but wish to join youre team instead
Say: 'YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS'
