Question for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

I have a question about the wonder mail stuff. Do you have to have seen the client beforehand before you start the mission? Like if your clients an Umbreon, do you have to see an Umbreon before you can do the mission?

No, but using wonder mail, you can get poke`mon from the other version if it's a poke`mon that you can't get naturally in that version. There are 5 poke`mon that each game can't get that the other has. E.x. Plusle is in Blue Version only. Go on Blue Version and find a mission that has a client named Plusle. Give the Wonder Mail Password to your friend who has Red Version. If he beats the mission, he can find Plusle naturally!
