Only starters, but there are a couple of extra Pokemon like Pikachu or Psyduck.

Yes. There's a starter for every nature I believe.
Ex:
Bold = charmander
Hardy = machop

All 9 starters are included,plus Skitty,Psyduck,Meowth,Machop,and Eevee.They all depend on the nature that you get.Your PARTNER is either one of the 9 starters or Pikachu.

You can be a Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikarita, Cydaquil, Totodile, Treeko, Mudkip, Torchic, Meowth, Psyduck, Eevee, Skitty, Machop, Pikachu, or Cubone.

You change into either Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Chikorita, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Cubone, Meowth, Skitty, Eevee, Pikachu, or Machop.
