They sort of eat pokemon I heard and is true... My lv44 Blastoise got turned into a bad egg... So sad...

Bad eggs are viruses that can crash your game when the egg is hatched. You need to get rid of the eggs before they hatch. They are usually obtained by using an Action Replay code that is false. If you need to get rid of one I would suggest that you trade it to a new Pokemon game and delete all the data off of it.

On my LG ROM when I accidentally reset it with a capture any Pokemon cheat code on, my pikachu(Pokemon at the bottom of my team) became a bad egg.
I have not had this experience before, but I placed it in my box almost instantly and no further harm has come. I have heard if you allow it to hatch your game save is wiped. Not sure how that works on a ROM but I still did not want to take the chance.
