Question for Pokemon LeafGreen
How do I get into saffron city? I already beat the rockets in lavendar town and celadon city...what else do I need to do??? Can you get shiny Pokemon in this game?

Take the underground path to celedon. Go in big building next to department store. Talk to old lady. She will have tea. Give it to gaurd at saffron gates.

You need to get the tea from the old lady in the building where you get Eevee and give it to the guard. And you can get shiny Pokemon in this game.

You need to go see the old lady in the Celadon Mansion. It is the large building to the left of the Pokemon center. (Not the Dept. Store.) On the first floor there is an old lady who will give you Tea. Give the tea to the guards to get through.

You need to get the Tea from the old lady on the first floor of the Pok�mon Mansion. And yes, you can get shiny Pok�mon in this game.

Have you gotten the tea from the old woman yet? If you have, go to Cerulean City and at the south end there will be a "station" thing with a guard. If you try to pass, he will say he is thirsty and drink your tea, thus allowing you to pass. After that, go through to the other side and you will be at Saffron City.
Yes, you can get shiny Pokemon in the game, but the odds are like 1,400 or something to 1. There are cheats to get shinys, but they are for Gameshark or Action Replay.
