Question for Pokemon LeafGreen

Hi. I normally am at the Fire Red questions, but now I have a question for Leaf Green.

I bought an Action Replay a couple weeks ago, I don't know what version it is, but it has the codes for LG and FR already built into it. I was using the Hold Down R code for a Quick Level up for my little brother so he could beat Cinnabar's Gym. I had gotten his Mewtwo, Lapras, and Articuno to Lv. 55 and Jolteon to lv. 56. We had to leave so we saved and turned it off. When we came back to play it, it said "Your save file has been deleted..." Why? This hasn't happened in my game at all!

Please repond. Smile

Action Replays mess up your game, which is why I rarely use them.

Maybe a bad code you used corrupted you saved game data stay with more safer codes like: Infinite money and all tm/hm's when it comes to your pokemon and your game don't mess with there internal structural data or it will mess it up.

rpgman answered:

If I told you how many times that has happened to me we'd be here all day. It's because the code was faulty i've had one before. it works all day, then you save, switch it off to have dinner or something, come back to switch it on and there. It's been deleted. I was about eight when this first happened to me. And it never gets any easier.

No surprise that I would see a question like this. I see questions about deleted files from AR and GameShark all the time.

Well, lemme tell you something- these things screw your game, alright? The code you put in is one I am definitely not familiar with, as I have never heard of it. It may have released the Save code, or it could have corrupted or disabled something. Nonetheless, restarting the game should have a minimal effect on you if you have such rare and valuable codes.
