Hey all I wanted to ask one question and that is
on pokemon leaf green I have just beat 7 island but I hear there are 9 and I heard alot of stuff about going to an nintendo event what is an nintedo event please
any advice will be heplful thank you

Island 8 and Island 9 are just like the Southern Islands in the gem versions, they can only be obtained/accessed through special items obtained in events (promotional events, remember the Mew and Celebi give away back in the colour and metal age?)
If I remembered correctly... Island 8 should be Navel Rock, where you would catch either Lugia or Ho-oH using the Mystic Ticket.
Island 9 is Birth Island, which you can go to using the Aurora Ticket, and it is there that you catch a real Deoxys, right after you finish a simple puzzle =P.
The only way to obtain the tickets now is to link up with friends who've already obtained the tickets, and recieve mystery gifts from them.
I've been hearing about machines or somthing that gives these tickets away, but I live in Australia and we don't even have Nintendo events held here (if they do, they have lousy marketing skills) let alone these 'mystery machine' ... so I've given you the only way I know for sure to get the tickets, hope this actualy helps you a lil bit eh....

Nintendo events are held in America,
If you go you get an extra ticket such as the aurora ticket, which enables you to sail to the 8th island from vermillion, or another ticket I cannot remember the name of which lets you go to island 9.

On island 8 you get lugi and ho oh and on island 9 you get the bets Pokemon of all time deoxys but sadly you need the Nintendo event
