You need to get another Game Boy Advance, another Pokemon Game (Ruby, Saphire, Emerald, Fire Red, or another Leaf Green) and a link cable.

Then in both games go to the Pokemon center and go to the trading center.

OR an alternative method is using the wireless adapter you recieve with the new copy of the game. If you and your trading partner has it, then you can trade without use of a link cable.
