Nope, I'm afraid you can't.

Only way is too trade from another game if you don't want to cheat.

No you can't get Mew in Pokemon Leafgreen without cheating except in Pokemon Emerald when there will be a Nintendo Event for it. Hope this helps you out.

Yes, I've heard that if you beat the elite four 12 times in a row, Mew will pop up outside of the gym. I don't know if this is true, but it's worth a shot.

What you have to do is catch all 150 Pokemon in the kanto reigon.then you talk to prof. Oak and he gives you Mew,my favorite pokemon!!!!!

Hahah...i know how to get Mew w/out cheating...
You have to complete the POKEDEX for 1-150 or 151 ...then after that you have to go out and find the building which is in that part a old lady will give you a "tea" after that you have to go and find a way from "back" the hause where the old lady lives...""find a way to go at the back of the building when you complete the pokedex of 150 or 151 "" after you find the way to go there go upstairs then you'll see the director of nintendo he will say that ..."ow you complete the pokedex I will give you a reward etc....then WALAH!!! You had a "NEW" LEGENDARY POKEMON NAMED "MEW"

There is a really easy way to get Mew without cheats! But I don't know what it is!

Beat the elite 4 12 times then go to cerculan city into the unown dungeon go to the liitle island where you battled mewtwo run around that spot and fight 10 Pokemon and the next Pokemon will not alawys be him but hell show up eventually if you go back a little later you will find celebi

If you cheated on a different game and traded over to "leafgreen", then TECHNICALLY (if you consider you did NOT use the cheating device on "leafgreen") you have attained Mew via a "semi-legit" way.

.When on the S.S. Anne you have to save one trainer on the boat. Collect HM 01. Then come back when you have surf. Then (I think ) use strength on the truck and Mew will appear.

First leave one trainer on the S.S. Anne. Collect the HM 01. Lose to the trainer and be warped to the Pokemon center. Come back with Surf, and go to the truck after you talk to the guy. ( I think you use Strength to move the truck) after you do that Mew should appear.

You need to have another game so you can trade pokemon. On your other game get the HM cut and give it to a Pokemon, then trade that Pokemon to your game that you want mew. After getting the ticket to the SS. Anne, DO NOT go on the boat, if you did the first part right you shouldint need to go on it to get cut. Go beat the other Gym leaders until you have surf and strength, go to the SS. Anne and youl see that you can walk to the boat. Use surf on the right side and keep going, you should see a truck. After that I'm not sure what to do, if it's strength on the truck, or fish around that area, I just know that Mew is near there. Remember to NOT go onto the SS. Anne before you have surf and strength and the badges to do so. Hope it helped

Just get mewtwo. He is much better than a Mew received with cheats, because a cheated Mew will just turn away and sleep. MEwtwo can be caught in cerulean cave. Just use you timer ball or ultra ball for him and save the Master ball for when you encounter either Suicune, Entei, or Raikou.

All who said Mew can be catched in so wherever bullshit they tell is crap.You need 2 Game Boy s,1 Emerald pak,Your desired pak(Leafgreen or Firered).To get Mew,get the Old sea map(or it was called so)through a Nintendo event,catch the Mew on Faraway island(If you managed to catch it,because,trust me,I had a hard time catching it)and trade it to your pak.Sorry for disapointing you,but that's the only way.By the way,those who created that bullshit lies are stupid.Or if your just an emulator player,just cheat.

Complete the pokedex up to 150 since Mew is 151. Also beat the elite four, and the battle tower on seven island. Then go to daisy in pallet town. Talk to her, and she'll say a new area has opened up in the viridian forest. Go there, and you will see a statue in the forest. Check it, and Mew appears.
