Question for Pokemon LeafGreen
I have a problem! I was going to trade my Raichu to my friend's Ruby for a Deoxys he got using an Action Replay. I went to One Island, then I went to the Cable Club. Everything was going great.
But when I pushed trade, the screen said: Your friends Pokemon can't be traded now. I had given the Ruby and SApphire to Celio, everything was perfect! WHAT IS WRONG????

If your friend's Deoxys is not in defense mode you can't get him on Leaf Green (hope it helps).

I'm sorry I realized my mistake did you talk to Celio before you traded? That's how my friend does it.
