How can I get a shiny Pokemon like the legendary?

ANSWERS

You could cheat by using a cheat device such as a GameShark or ActionReplay. Or you could do these steps:

1) Go up to a Legandary Pokemon.
2) Save. 3) And talk to it.
4) You should have a battle now.
5) If the Legendary is not Shiny.
6) Turn off the game and turn back on.
7) You should be next to the Legendary like before.
8) Follow Steps 3-6

P.s.The steps above would take like 1-50 hours for a shiny.

It is impossible to get the shiny version of those four Pokemon unless your game code gets hacked or you use a cheating device such as the action replay or gameshark.I hope this helps.

well I'm actualy looking for a shiny articuno on heart gold as well. Here's a few tips that might help. save before u battle it than battle it like normal. if its not shiny turn it off than back on. Or if your playing diamond, pearl, platinum, soul silver or pokemon heart gold you could always go to the gts and request it and see if any are shiny. First before you try make sure you have a wireless connection and make sure u have that pokemon on your pokedex. So good luck and I hope you get what what you want.

save before you battle it. then battle it and if its not shiny press .L,R,START and SELECT to soft reset and battle it again.. repeat until its shiny

I want to try to get shiny moltres and do it legit (no hacks)but should I just do the on and off sae bit or is there a nother way? It's on leaf green
