Can you tell me if this will work?

I'm only on like the 5th badge, but I just want to make sure that this team will work( haven't gotten them all yet).

Charizard60-Nidoking60-Rhydon60-Raichu60-Fearow60-Kingler60

I have all but Kingler and Rhydon. Of course my Pokemon are not lvl 60 yet, but that is my goal level. Can you guys also suggest what moves they should learn?
I want this team to eat the Elite four.

Look, I'm one for thinking if you just try really hard and use the Pokemon you like, you can beat the Elite Four with any suitably leveled-up pokemon.

But I also don't recommend using normal pokemon. True they have heaps of hp and some learn really cool moves... It's just my prejudice though! A good strategy is to try and incorporate as many of the 17 types of Pokemon into your party of six as you can. (double types) a good idea is to go for double types that are like water/grass (weak and strong against each other)

As for moves, my strategy is offense offense offense! I never use defensive moves, I use direct offensives (like fire blast or Rock Smash) or indirect offensives (like paralyze or poison) and moves that do two things are great, like ones that hit and paralyze or confuse a foe, or that hit and poison them. I tire of long and protracted battles... I like them to be as quick as possible either way! I take in heaps of restoratives. But that's just my strategy for battle within the game. It all changes when playing with friends!!!

And you can find lists of the Elite Four/champion on there for all the games, you'll have to navigate your way around a bit to find it, but it helps to see what you're up against.

In my opinion only Charizard and Raichu are useful against the Elite Four for the first time. I agree with the level 60 goal though. This was my team before the elite four.My team was:
Lapras lv55:Thunderbolt, Surf, Hydro Pump, and Ice Beam.
Venusaur lv66(traded):Razor Leaf, Solarbeam, Synthesis, and Frenzy Plant. Alakazam lv58(traded Kadabra from my gamae to friends then back):Psychic, Psybeam, Future Sight, and Recover.
Pidgeot lv48: Arial Ace(accident), Fly, Wing Attack, Quick Attack
Blastioise lv60: Hydro Cannon, Ice Beam, Surf, Protect
Charizard lv60:Blast Burn, Flamethrower, Earthquake, and Wing Attack
Pidgeot was never a help, he was only the one who got me their and was used to revive other pokemon.
The Elite Four's Pokemon are:
Loreli(first person)and their types
Dewgong lv52 Water/Ice
Cloyster lv 51 Water/Ice
Slowbro lv52 Water/Psychic
Lapras lv54 Water/Ice
Jynx lv 54 Ice/Psychic
As you can see Loreli will be easy with a high level electric pokemon
Bruno(second person) and their types
Onix lv 51 Rock/Ground
Hitmonchan lv53 Fighting
Machamp lv56 Fighting
Hitlmonlee lv53 Fighting
Onix lv54 Rock/Ground
Bruno's easy with some strong grass and psychic types.
Agatha(third person)and their types
Gengar lv54 Ghost/Poison
Golbat lv54 Poison/Flying
Arbok lv56 Poison
Haunter lv53 Ghost/Poison
Gengar lv58 Ghost/Poison
Agatha will be a piece of cake with strong psychic types.
Lance(last person...almost)and their types
Gyrados lv56 Water/Flying
Dragonair lv54 Dragon
Aerodadctyl lv58 Rock/Flying
Dragonair lv54 Dragon
Dragonite lv60 Dragon
Lance is easy with a super strong ice pokemon.
Afterwards you have to face Gary. Don't worry he's not too hard.
Don't forget to buy tons of full restores and revives. Good Luck training!
