Question for Pokemon FireRed

How do I raise my pokemons happieness level????

I wanted to evolve togepi and I went to this Pokemon web site and it said "get it's happieness level to the highest and get it up one level!"

I really want to raise the happieness level and evolve it so someone please tell me!!!!!!!

To raise it's happyness, you can give it items and battle with it. Also if you have a soothebell it will raise it's happyness

If you want to Evolve togepi, just give it items like protein, zinc and the other items to increase it's stats until it can't take any more then make it go one level and it would evolve.

There are several ways on how to get a Pokemon to love you.

Use it in battle often. Feed it yummy berries and viamins. Keep it with you in your party.
Don't feed it bitter berries or herbs, don't let Status Conditions linger too long, and don't let it faint.
If you put it in the DayCare or in the PC, the Pokemon won't hate you, but over time, it will forget how much it liked you.

You have to basically give it a soothe bell to hold, and keep battling with it, and whatever you do don'yt put it in a daycare.
