Every time I go to evolve my tyrogue it goes to evolve into a hitmonlee..

Question for Pokemon FireRed

Every time I go to evolve my tyrogue it goes to evolve into a hitmonlee (which I already got from the fighting dojo. How can I get my tyrogue to evolve into a hitmonchan, or more importantly a hitmontop?

To get Hitmonchan...the Def stats of tyrouge is bigger than it's defense...as for Hitmontop...it's Def and Atk stats are almost equal so it can Evolve

Ok, to get Hitmontop, Evolve Tyrouge at Level 20, HOWEVER. Your Tyrouge's Attack and Defense needs to be equal. To get Hitmonchan, evolve it at Level 20, but it's stats need to look like this: Attack < Defense.

Hitmontop=Attack equals your defence at Tyrouge level 20
Hitmonchan=Defense is greater thhan attack at level 20.

To make it Evolve into Hitmontop, have it's Attack and Defense exactly equal. Hitmonchan must have higher attack. To change it's attack and defense, buy Protein and Iron. The lady at I think Four or Five Island sells them for 9800 PokeDollars each but that is worth a rare Pokemon like Hitmontop. Also the Celadon Market sells them. Hope I helped.

Give it Iron to raise it's Defense. Tyrouge's evolution depends on it's Attack and Defense stats.
