It's a semicircular module for the GBA which allows you to communicate with another GBA over a Wireless connection within ten feet.

It's an adaptor without wires!!!!! Sheez!!!
You connect one to your gba and the other one to another gba and go to a Pokemon center,go upstairs and start trading and etc.

The Wireless adapter was the item that came with the game when it came out. It allowed you to interact with people that had the game and a wireless adapter in. You could Trade and battle with them. You could even chat with them. Which is kinda pointless because you had to be 10ft away or closer.

Its used to battle and Trade, similar to a link cable but it has a 10 foot radius and can be used to go into the union room.

A Wireless Adaptor is just as it's name implies. It's an Adaptor that happens to be Wireless. Stick it on your Gameboy(not DS), and if you enter the Union Room on the 2nd floor of a Pokemon center, if anybody else is around with a Wireless Adaptor in range, you can communicate with them.

It is used for trading, battling, etc, with FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald.
