Question for Pokemon FireRed
I'm having a trading problem. I caught a Mew the other day on my Fire Red and My brother wanted to add it to his Sapphire Pokedex. When we tried to trade Mew back to my Fire Red, it said that the "Trainers Pokemon was not able to be traded. Trade Canceled!" Anyone know what's causing this?

Because that Mew obviously was not obtained on Emerald at Faraway Island. Colosseum, XD, and Fire Red and later versions are programmed so that an illegally obtained Mew cannot be transferred and will not obey.

What Pokemon did you tried to Trade,do you have the National Pokedex,because if you don't you cannot trade Jhoto/Horen pokemon.
