Question for Pokemon FireRed

Sorry for my stupidity, but I still don't understand. People are telling me you can get to islands 4-7 only with a nintendo event and some people are telling me that I
can get there by helping some person named Celio. Please tell me what to do, and if I need a nintendo event, where do I get it?

Again, sorry for my stupidity, hope I havent wasted to much of your life =]

You don't need a nintendo event. You need to beat the Elite Four and catch 60 different pokemon. After that talk to professor oak and he gives you the rainbow pass that allows you to travel to 7 of the 9 islands.

But I've done that, alls he gave me was a new Pokedex yata yata and then gary said " ill go check on island 1",yata yata. Ive talked to proffesor oak more than 1 time and he just says " Your rating 60 pkmn owned, hoho, this is coming out to be a great pokedex. National podex yata yata seen 60 owned, I'm looking foward to see some mor pokemon."

You also have to beat Team Rocket on 3 island or something and then you get another crystal and give it to Celio or go buy a GameShark at Target they're only $20
