Question for Pokemon FireRed

Ok this is my first time here. I bought a gameshark it did not have an instruction manual. So I was wandering if you could tell me how to enter a code and make I work thanks

You can only turn on ten codes at a time, the codes are already programmed into the gameshark and it is FireRed 1.1 you want to use because the other one doesn't work
