They are codes used to enhance the game in order to help you complete the game, or find it easier. You need to buy the GameShark device, then enter the codes.

You need a gameshark to enter in gameshark codes,game shark codes are cheats that let you get stuff/do stuff that you can't get in the game or do something that you can't normaly do.

You insert them on the Gameshark and use certian "Correct" codes that will give you a certain item on the game.
