Yes you can after you have defeated the Elite Four and obtained the national dex which you can get off proffesor oak after catching 60 kinds of pokemon

The answer is no, you can not Trade from Pokemon Gold or Silver to Fire Red or any other GBA or Gamecube Pokemon Game.

No, unfortunately but once you beat the Elite Four and visit the Sevii Islands some of the islands have some of the gold/silver Pokemon such as mantine, skarmory, phanpy, qwilfish,etc.
