Duplicate master balls on game boy advanced, leaf green.

Duplicate master balls on game boy advanced, leaf green.
I know you can put them in your pc and shut it off right when it says "please do not run power off" but that's in newer versions. Older versions you find "missing number" and it gives you 999 master balls. How do I do it ONLY for game boy advanced leaf green?
