How do you get the Ruby stone?

You have to have caught at least 60 pokemon. Then you go to Proffesor Oak and he will give you the National Pokedex. You then go to One Island, speak to Celio, then go to Mt.Ember. Once you get there, keep going right and up until you battle some rockets outside a cave. Go inside the cave and find the Ruby, bring it back to Celio and go and get the Sapphire gem on Six Island!

Get 60 pokemons information in the Pokedex. Then talk to Prof. Oak and he will give you the National Pokedex. Then go to the bottom of Mt. Ember turn right up the path there will be Team Rocket members. Battle them and then you will be able to go into the cave behind them. At the end of the cave will be the Ruby.

Well you must have done the league with at least 60 Pokemon so that your pexdex to get up-graded (thats when you can start to capture the Johto pokemon).
Then you get this pass I think it's from Bill (Im not sure) then you go to the S.S. Anne and you will be able to go to islands: 1, 2 and 3 go to island number 1.
Once you have arrived you go to the Pokemon center and Bill and his friend Celio will be there at this machine and celio will ask you to get the Ruby.
Now you go to the beach (south west of the island) and Surf upwards there will be a grassy area and some trainers get past that there will be a cave ignore that a surf forward till you come to another cave, enter the cave. You go to the right there will be Team Rocket members they will be talking and you will here one of thre passwords you will have to battle them and then enter the cave they are guarding.
Eventually you will get to the Ruby.

P.S. Oh and by the way that cave (not the one were you get the Ruby) is were you can find the lengendeary Pokemon Moltres so be prepared.

First, you go to Mt. Ember. And once you went up the stairs in to a "W-intersection", go right and beat the Team Rocket dudes. Then go to the end of the tunnel to find the Ruby ( :

Dx500 made a mistake. You find the sappire in the 7 island at Dotted Hole use Cut take sappire a guy staels it battle him in rocket warhouse at 5 island he gives you the sappire go to island 1 give it 2 Celio then you can Trade between Pokemon Ruby and sappire. If you want 2 trade in emrald you do the same ( I think). Or maybe you just have to beat the game. Who knows? I don't. I only have fire red and gold! LOL! But I'm going to get ruby this or next year along with action replay

Hey Suicune, I did not make a mistake. Dotted Hole is on Six Island. I'd have happily admitted it if I'd made a real mistake, but I haven't.
