Question for Pokemon FireRed

Hi what do I do if I find the 8th gym leader in fire red I found him in the one island but when I returned to the gym leader place it says the door is locked

The Eighth Gym is actually found n Viridian City. I believe you are talking about Cinnabar Island, the place where the Seventh Gym is.

Before you can access the Cinnabar Gym, you must first find the Secret Key in the Pokemon Mansion on Cinnabar Island. After you have it, you can face the Cinnabar Gym. After you have defeated Team Rocket in Saffron City and have Seven Gym Badges, you should have no problems getting into the Viridian Gym.

If I remember correctly the 8th gym leader in fire red is the Team Rocket leader and just use a walkthrough to find out how to unlock the gym

You have to get the 7 gym badges then you can go in the gym in viridian, Beat Giovanni Go to gateway to Indigo Plateau And You will have to fight your Rival for a second time. Then you go to Victory Road
