Question for Pokemon FireRed
What do you get when you complete your pokedex? I heard rumors that say that you get a Mew but I know those aren't true. Do you get anything good once you complete your pokedex? What do you do with it when it's complete?

I haven't actually done this, but I'm SOOO close (7 Pokemon away!) and I've heard that you get a certificate or something from the Gamefreak guy who says "When you finish, come tell me!"

You don't get any special Pokemon or move when you complete the Pokedex, just a little kudos in the form of a certificate. To get this certificate take it to the Nintendo guy once your Pokedex is complete.

Go see the GameFreak guy in the mansion in Celadon City and show him your Pokedex. Go see what happens for yourself.

In Pokemon Ruby/shappire/Emerald you get johto Starter when you complete the Pokedex maybe you complete the pokedex you will get hoenn starter

Fire red and leaf green are basically remakes of red and blue with a few add one that being said I'd assume you'd only get a certificate that states that you managed to complete the Pokedex. Nowadays completing the pokedex In fire red/leaf green/Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald isn't that impressive of a feat as it was back when they were the current games because anybody can hop online and download a gba emulator and rom and look up and use cheat codes.... Bt the way there's even a cheat code that completes the pokedex even if you didnt catch em all hope that helped

Nothing oak just dances like a idiot and game freak just gives out a certificate only time I cheated was to get Mew everything else took around 120 hours of training and alot of trades for out of game pokemon. Kind of a waste. Im still waiting on doing Emerald just to see whats going to happen.
