Question for Pokemon FireRed
I have a houndour when it reaches level 24 it says it's evolving but half way it stop I dint press the b button but the bottom of the screen it says .... Is it because the game is glitch or I need the national dex? Please help

I'm fairly certain you need the National Dex first. To expand upon this problem; in Generation 3 games, a Pokemon will not Evolve if it is not in the current Pokedex (for example, Houndour or Numel won't evolve if you only have the Kanto Dex). Once you get the National Dex, all Pokemon who can evolve will evolve once their evolutionary criteria (Level, Evolutionary Stone...) is met.
This problem did not occur in the first two Generations because every Pokemon in existence at the time the game was released was in the Pokedex.
Starting in Generation 4 this problem doesn't exist. Any Pokemon who can Evolve will regardless of whether or not it is in the Pokedex.
