You head up to rout one as if your snikking out and he stops you and gives you your first pokemon

YOU have to go to his laboratory, go there and he will be there.

Just try to head up to Route 1, and Prof. Oak will stop you reaching the Pallet Town exit.

You have to head up to the grass, he will appear, telling you to stop and he will take you to his lab and give you your Starter
