Question for Pokemon FireRed

Hey guys, I'm basically new to gpSPhone and all this jazz. What I would like to know is how to enter cheat codes into gpSPhone for Pokemon FireRed (which my friend downloaded for me, and I do have iFile)? For example,
1.) I know how to make the files name (mine is : Pokemon - Fire Red.cht & I know to make it a Regular File & how to get to Text Viewer) , but how would I code the cheat codes into Text Viewer ? My main problem is that I don't really understand this "Master Code", "GameShark" (I know what it is, just not how to code it), and "Action Replay" stuff. - FOR EXAMPLE - How would I code into Text Viewer for Pokemon FireRed - How to get infinite Rare Candies ?

2.) After all the coding and shenanigans, how would I enable the cheat? I know where it is to enable it, but how to make it appear with it's name?

So, for whoever is willing to help out a fellow Pokemon fan, would you mind telling me step-by-step on how to code things AND how to enable it? It would be AWESOME if you could. Some videos are just confusing after certain points...

P.S. Just a reminder, it's Pokemon FireRed and I would just like to know how to do it without the use of a computer. Thanks!!

Most emulators have a section to enter cheat codes on. Once you find it, you can enter cheat codes on it.

Most codes require a Master Code in order to work. You can find plenty of Master Codes and Gameshark Codes for Pokemon FireRed on this site.
