You can fight wild pokemon but that takes longer. You can also use Rare Candies.

You can use EXP. share in battles, and you can use rare candies, but your Pokemon don't become as strong through rare candies.

You could use the EXP share to gain points or use rare candies which takes a few minutes but your pokemon will become weaker than if you trained them

You could always try giving it to the daycare- man, but you'll have to walk a lot of steps though.
