You must put it on before starting the game, then you can only use it if someone is across from you with another Wireless adapter.

Do you mean *how? I think you do... Well, the way use use the Wireless adapter is to battle and Trade with people who are also using the wireless adapter. I know you can battle and trade with people who are close to you, but I don't know if it's the same as Pokemon: Diamond/ Pearl. So that's pretty much it on how to use the Wireless adapter. By the way, you can also use the wireless adapter for more games. I also use it for Megaman when my friends want to get pwned. Hope this helps ya.

Put it on before you start the game and then keep less than 20 feet apart from the other guy and use it to battle or Trade
