Nintendo event is a specially enabled part of the game that allows the user (you) to receive special Pokemon and places eg faraway island for Mew, navel rock for ho oh and Lugia, birth island for deoxys and southern island for the latis. In your game you can enable it by going to any pokemart and filling out the questionnaire next to the cashier with "link Together With All." This activates the mystery gift after you save the game but is will be virtually useless unless you have a friend with one of the special tickets or if you go to a nintendo event, none of which is likely to happen. Otherwise you can always use an action replay to get the tickets or just warp to the islands
