I was told to leave your GBA on for about 2 hours (you can let it sit or you can continue playing). Leaving the game on for so long will cause glitches in them that will change their colors. Also, if your GBA doesn't last for 2 hours, try 1.5 hours.

Well I just looked around and I found a gold mighteana or watever it is but I just got lucky and that was in emerald
