Altering Cave

What is the point of the altering cave. Are there hidden items or rare pokemon(or maybe something else.)

There is no point to the cave.

You get a game shark and use it to get different Pokemon

Yeah, there was supposed to be more, but the developers just didn't really deliver on that one...

It's activated by the Mystery Gift. I think in a nintendo event. Once it is activated you will be able to catch rare Pokemon like teddiursa or stantler.

You can catch tediursa stantler houndour and other.the Pokemon you can catch in Altering Cave you can also catch them in Emerald or in Pokemon colosseum
