Is weird bacause i remeber when i had emerald like 10 tears ago i had both latios and latias in the wild at the same time no hacks or cheats idk how i did it cause all i use to do is chanllege the elite four and the gyms like i beat the game like 6 times to get my swellow and swampert level 100

I found latias lvl 30 out of the blue when I was in the grass beside lilycove city(before beating the elite 4)I can't find the game pak anywhere now

Yes. Well, sort of. After beating the elite four, In ruby, you could only get Latios, and in sapphire you could only get Latias, well, in Emerald, when you've beaten the elite four, and you start back at home, you get the option to choose which one you would like to catch. By picking the colour when it appears as a report on the television and your mum asks you about it.
To get the other in the same game, you will need an Eon Ticket (obtained at a special event) which will allow you to catch the ferry to Southern Island, to meet the other one, at Level 50.

But for some reason latias wasn't there, am I missing something? Even my friend was facing the same problem but one some glitch happened and it came to him like in the tutorials

Most people arent detailed when they give answer so the real answer is after you beat the elite four go down stairs in your house and watch the tv it will say two Pokemon color bzz and bzz which means you have tp pick the color they are when your mom asks you then if you get lucky you'll meet the color youpicked in the grass or water,but they only way no to get the pther one is to trade from a friend or use a Gameshark or Action Reaply
