I have never heard of these Pokemon Nintendo Events. What are they and how are they accessed?

EspeonDude_ answered:

They're events that allow you to get special Pokmon unobtainable without cheating devices. Such as going to Toys R Us and getting a Mew.

You can't access them for the GBA games anymore... They do Diamond and Pearl events now. So if you want event Pokmon, you have to use a cheating device.

Shadow Entei answered:

The Events have been over for a few years. They were to get Lugia and Ho-oh(Navel Rock), Deoxys(Birth Island), and Mew(Faraway Island).

mitsu answered:

You have to go to them in real life. Like in Japan, or New York, etc. They might be at a place like a toy store, or a comic book convention or gaming convention. If you haven't heard of them, chances are they don't hold them near your hometown.

Which is a pity. I think Nintendo/Pokemon should have contests or puzzles on their website that allow you to win the items if you can't make it to an event. They should be different answers for every person who plays them. And they should make it a little easier for those of us who can't access any events (without paying $1000 plus to fly to Japan) to get rare pokemon.

I like to whinge about this, I live in Australia, and there have never been any events here. Ever. Not in the major cities... And I live a good few hours away from even those! It's like we don't even exist! Were the biggest island on the planet and... Oh sorry, I get really irate about it, and a little carried away!
