Torchic: Hard gyms, easy elite four.
Treecko: Easy gyms, hard elite four.
Mudkip: Medium difficulty throughout the game.
So there you go, take your pick.

I started with all three! But I truly think Torchic is the best starter, especially when you have a good, solid team to back it up, whether it's a gym battle, or if you're finishing off the Elite Four!

Definitely Torchic he evolves into Combusken,then BLAZIKEN!!!
Mudkip evolves into Marstomp,then Swampert!
Treecko,Grovyle,Sceptile!!
