Question for Pokemon Emerald

Hi, I know that this is a hard question to answer and that if I do recieve answers they will be subjective. But, I was wondering, what team of three Pokemon do you guys think would be most effective while battling in the battle frontier.

Ps: I realize that all the events are different and may repuire different Pokemon, but I want to know which three Pokemon form the most versitile, hard-to-beat team. In other words, which three Pokemon can back up each others weaknesses best? Answers are appriciated.

You could use any Pokemon you like to be honest...But give them different variations of move sets...

I used

Charizard LV100
Flamethrower
Dragon Claw
Aerial Ace
Earthquake

Tyranitar LV100
Earthquake
Crunch
Rock Slide
Thunder Bolt

Alakazam LV100
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Calm Mind
Mirror Coat/Light Screen

You could use any Pokemon you want as long as they belong to the strong group..pokemon such as Corsola,Butterfree,Vileploom etc are weak...

A really hard to beat team utilises the best of their stats and moves.

Back up types, and use a very good leadoff Pokmon. I personally like Salamence or Metagross as my Leadoff Pokmon as choice. Why? Because Salamence uses Intimidate to cut the Attack of the other leadoff Pokmon, giving it a great advantage with it's awesome attack.

Anyway, these are a few Pokmon, AND MOVESETS that I really reccomend:

Salamence @ Choice Band
Aerial Ace
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Flamethrower/Fire Blast

Rock Slide is from breeding, BTW. It's awesome becasue this thing has threat all over it. It has awesome attack. Aerial Ace gets STAB.

Snorlax @ Leftovers

Curse
Shadow Ball
Body Slam/Return
Rest

This thing is an absolute beast. I'm not going to lie. Curse raises your Attack and Defense, but reduces Speed. Speed on a Snorlax is useless! He has awesome Special Defense too, so think that you have awesome attack and awesome defence and special defense! You'll rip through the Frontier.

Scizor @ Salac Berry/Lansat Berry/Starf Berry
Agility
Swords Dance
Silver Wind
Baton Pass

Agility so you're faster then pretty much everything, then Swords Dance. Sometimes you'll fall below 1/4 HP, that's when the berry activates. You'll get your stat boost to pass to the recipent and dominate even more. If a Psychic, Dark or Grass type tries to stop you, Silver Wind them! You may even get the boost in all stats!

Raikou @ Leftovers

Calm Mind
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power[Ice]/Hidden Power[Grass]
Substitue

This thing will really annoy things within the game. Substitute up and then proceed to Calm Mind. Good luck trying to break the Sub without a physical attacker. Raikou has awesome speed, so good luck facing a +4 boosted Thunderbolt from him!

Suicune @ Leftovers

Calm Mind
Surf
Ice Beam
Rest

More sweeping. Again, awesome. Calm Mind up, Suicune has awesome defense, so add awesome Special defense in the mix, and Special Attack! God there's so much you can do with this guy.

That's just a few suggestions, good luck! You can always come to the Pokmon Team Rating forum for more help!

Well I recommend Charizard, Kyogre, and Rayquaza.

Mark 143 answered:

For me, the ultimate team would be a Level 50 Latios, a Level 50 Gyarados, and a Level 50 Wobbuffet. They got me most of my Silver Symbols. My Latios knows Ice Beam, Psychic, Thunderbolt, and Recover. My Gyarados knows Endure, Dragon Dance, Flail, and Earthquake. (There will be a note as to how my Gyarados knows Flail after you read this paragraph.) The Wobbuffet- it doesn't really matter what mine knows as long as you teach yours Counter, Destiny Bond, and Mirror Coat.

P.S. My Gyarados knows Flail by keeping the Magikarp Magikarp until Level 30, which is when it will automatically learn Flail. Then, let it evolve.
