Question for Pokemon Emerald
One time I saw a latias and I couldn't catch it...i fainted it....any way one day I went to go find it again, I looked on my PokeDex and it told me where to find it. I went to that place. I checked to make sure I was in the right place bye looking at where to find it. I wasn't so I flew to that place. I knew I flew to the right place. The Pokemon moved. What's up with that... Please Answer!!

Latias and Latios are runners. If you find them, they'll try to run away. When they flee, they run to a new location. You need to find it again, but YOU CAN'T USE FLY. It will just run again. Insted, you need to walk, no running or bike, just walk. NO Pok�Dex either. Walk, and use Repels like crazy. You'll come across it again eventually. My advice is to bring a Wobbuffet that knows Mirror Coat. You'll be able to counter it's Special Attacks and whittle it down to Red HP, then you can proceed to throw Balls at it like crazy.

It will move because it' doesn't want you to catch it....don't use fly!!!!!! For pete sake! It's really obvious for the Pokemon to move...use only Surf/walking or biking....to get to the place..

Once you go to fly to a place, they move! Its really annoying but thats the way it is...

That is what latias does!!!you just have toget lucky and hit the spot where he is at while your at that part of the map.. I've played this game (ruby really) and about 4 times I played it I caught mine right from the city where you get your bike.. What you do is just keep going back and forth and once in ahwile check your pokedex

Lol they always move to different places.
I was leaving slateport and going north and on the very first grass thing right above slate port I ran through it and latias appeared :3
But yeah they always move around
