You need a cheating device and have Emerald in it. Enter the code and press enable.

To activate the cheat codes you need a Gameshark or an Action Replay. Both are cheat devices that you put in your Gameboy. Once you have it on etc. Put in codes that you can get from this site, and then play the game and the cheats will be activated.
